If possible, remove the showerhead from the hose and place it in a container. If that’s not possible, then fill a sandwich bag with the cleaning product and tie it around the showerhead with an elastic band.
Fill the container or bag with cleaning vinegar and water. Use about 2/3 vinegar and 1/3 water. Soak the showerhead in the mixture. It’s best to leave it to soak for as long as possible, for example overnight. If that doesn’t do the trick, then it needs at least a few more hours. Then rinse the showerhead thoroughly with water and brush off any remaining dirt with an old toothbrush. It’s really that easy! After that, you can reconnect it, and it’ll be as good as new.
