Unbelievable! This is the tiniest hotel in the world

Did you know that  Eh’häusl means “wedding house”. Back in 1728 when it was built, the council of the town required couples intending to marry to produce a certificate of property. A super clever man thought how can I marry when I do not have the money to own a property? He slapped together two walls and a roof in an 8.2-foot alley between two other houses. This great idea worked! The building kept getting sold to subsequent brides- and grooms-to-be to serve as their proof of land ownership. Funny right?

Unfortunately, this charming tradition ended. In 2008, the house got a complete make-over. It was completely refurbished to the cute, cozy retreat it is today. Eh’häusl can be booked for 240,00 €, or about $280 a day. So, what are you waiting for and book this cute vacation for two!

As you can see the interior is pretty light. The walls are all white and the floors are made from light-colored wood. The fresh colors make the rooms feel bigger than they are. The interior style can be described as country chic. You see a lot of traditional items combined with classy materials. It looks very cute!
